Unemployed youth in Muzaffarpur have a fresh employment avenue opening up for them. Under the auspices of the Department of Youth, Employment and Skill Development of the Bihar government, the District Employment Exchange in Muzaffarpur will organize a job camp on September 28, 2026. The recruitment drive is set to begin at 10 AM at the Sub-Regional Employment Exchange located in Gannipur, Muzaffarpur. During this camp, the private sector employer SIS Ltd. from Jamui will screen and select candidates for various positions, with a total of 70 vacancies announced by the department.
Available Positions and Eligibility Criteria
Applicants participating in the camp must fall within the age bracket of 19 to 40 years. Educational requirements vary by position, ranging from 10th standard pass, 12th standard pass, to a full graduation degree. Selected candidates will receive a salary package starting from approximately 12,000 rupees and going up to 40,000 rupees per month depending on the assigned role. In addition to the base pay, employees will benefit from perks such as Provident Fund, ESIC, bonuses, gratuity, pensions, and comprehensive insurance coverage. The designated workplace for these positions will span a pan-India level.
Mandatory Documents and Preparation
Job seekers attending the recruitment event must carry their updated resume, Aadhaar card, PAN card, and relevant educational certificates along with mark sheets. Additionally, attendees are required to bring two passport-sized color photographs. Authorities have advised participants to bring both the original copies of all necessary documents and their photocopies to ensure a smooth verification process at the venue.
Registration on the NCS Portal
Participation in the job camp requires mandatory registration on the National Career Service Portal through the employment exchange. Candidates who have not yet registered can visit the Gannipur employment office on any working day to complete the paperwork. Alternatively, applicants can register online for free as job seekers directly on the NCS portal. The administration has clarified that the participating company belongs to the private sector, meaning all employment terms and appointment responsibilities lie solely with the employer, while the local exchange acts purely as a facilitation provider.
