Beneficiaries can generate their Digital Life Certificate (DLC) directly inside the NPS, UPS, and APY mobile application using Aadhaar-based facial recognition technology. The procedure involves the following steps
- Open the official NPS, UPS, and APY mobile app installed on your smartphone.
- Select the option labeled ‘UPS Jeevan Setu – Digital Life Certificate’ located on the main home screen.
- Type in your Permanent Retirement Account Number (PRAN) alongside your date of birth (DOB).
- Enter the one-time password (OTP) delivered to your registered mobile number to confirm account ownership.
- Choose the ‘Aadhaar’ option, supply the requested authentication details, and proceed by tapping ‘Continue with Aadhaar’.
