Online Booking Partner and Ticket Limits
To facilitate smooth access for fans, the MPCA has named 'District by Zomato' as its official ticketing partner for the event. Purchases can be made online through the dedicated mobile application as well as the official website. In an effort to prevent ticket scalping and ensure fair distribution, a strict limit of four tickets per individual buyer has been mandated. The exact date for the commencement of online ticket sales will be announced in a subsequent update. Concessional tickets designated for students and specially-abled spectators will also be made available at a later stage.
Crime Branch Advisory on Fraudulent Ticket Links
Alongside the pricing release, both the MPCA and the local Crime Branch have issued a joint public advisory urging cricket enthusiasts to exercise caution against online scams. Fans are explicitly warned against clicking on unverified booking links circulating across WhatsApp and social media channels. Authorities advise buyers to thoroughly inspect domain links and verify the authenticity of the ticketing platform prior to completing any financial transaction.
