With this brilliant half-century, Rohit has officially overtaken former captain Rahul Dravid to claim the third spot for the most 50-plus scores by an Indian batsman in ODI history. Rohit achieved his 95th score of 50 or more in his 277th ODI innings. In comparison, Dravid had registered 94 such scores across 314 innings during his illustrious career.
Currently, only the legendary duo of Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli stand ahead of Rohit on this prestigious list. Former captain Sourav Ganguly occupies the fifth spot, having scored 50 or more runs on 93 occasions in the ODI format.

Rohit's stellar innings was not without its moments of fortune. Early in the game, when he was batting on just 10 runs, he played a cut shot off Zia-ur-Rehman.
