According to family members, two massive boulders weighing around 20 kilograms each were tightly secured to Sunita's body to ensure it remained submerged in the water. Husband Called Claiming Sunita Was Fleeing
Shattering details emerged when the victim's father, Shyam Singh Barela, a resident of Chandpura, revealed that his daughter had been missing from home for nearly six days. He stated that prior to the tragic discovery, he received a phone call from Sunita's husband, Zabar Singh Barela. During the call, Zabar Singh informed him that his daughter was attempting to run away from the house. In response, the father advised him to wait until morning so they could sit down and talk things through calmly. According to the father, barely half an hour after that initial conversation, Zabar Singh called him back to state that Sunita had successfully fled.
Ever since that alarming phone call, family members had been frantically searching for Sunita for the past six days. However, their worst fears came true on Monday morning when her body was spotted floating in the dam situated near the village. The grieving relatives have alleged that given the horrifying state in which the body was recovered and the heavy stones tied to her torso, it is abundantly clear that this was not a case of suicide, but rather a calculated murder designed to dispose of the body and eliminate all evidence.
Had Entered into a Love Marriage Five Months Ago
According to information provided by the family, Sunita and Zabar Singh Barela had chosen to tie the knot through a love marriage approximately five months prior to the incident. They had embarked on a new chapter of their lives together with hopes of a stable future, but within a mere span of a few months, such a devastating tragedy struck the family. Ever since the news of Sunita going missing and subsequently being found dead surfaced, a pall of deep gloom has descended upon her maternal home and the entire family circle, with relatives demanding justice.
True Cause of Death to Surface After Police Probe
Upon receiving information about the grim discovery, the local police immediately swung into action, rushed to the spot, took the body into custody, and initiated necessary legal procedures.
