SIT In-Charge and Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Dr. Archana Singh stated that all relevant project documentation from suspect firms has been requisitioned for thorough forensic auditing. Dr. Archana Singh emphasized that any municipal official or employee found guilty of complicity will face strict legal prosecution.

According to law enforcement officials, Govind Sharma, a resident of Agra, served as the primary kingpin of the tender syndicate. His firm managed to secure a significant portion of major development works awarded by the municipal corporation.
