Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his visionary leadership and continuous support to the capital, the Chief Minister remarked that Delhi is poised to take the very first step on the threshold of a developed nation. Describing the changing dynamics of the capital, she highlighted that Delhi has become active, attentive, and attractive. She pointed out that young people in the city are deeply attuned to vital global and societal issues, including mental health, climate change, gender equality, innovation, and social justice. Empowering Women Through the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana
Highlighting key social welfare initiatives, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta provided an update on the implementation of the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹2,500 per month is being extended to eligible women in need. She shared that within a short span, approximately 7,25,000 women have successfully registered for the initiative, moving toward the government's target of reaching 17 lakh beneficiaries. The Chief Minister stated that empowering women strengthens families, which in turn propels the entire state forward. She reaffirmed that public service remains her administration's sole religion, holistic development its primary objective, and enhancing citizens' quality of life its singular resolve.
