Spike in Violent Crimes Across the Capital

Prior to the Najafgarh incident, a property dealer named Bunty Ghadiyal was beaten to death in Delhi's Kalkaji area. Family members had vehemently alleged that Bunty was brutally beaten and murdered by perpetrators.
Before that, East Delhi witnessed a brazen daylight-style knife attack on the night of September 10 in the Mandawali locality, resulting in the death of a young man identified as Vansha. Police had taken immediate action in that case, arresting two suspects shortly after the crime. The continuous stream of homicide cases across the national capital has fueled safety concerns among residents and raised tough questions regarding policing and street crime.
