Efforts to improve the quality of education in Bal Vatikas keep coming up from time to time in Uttar Pradesh, and Amethi district is now rolling out its own push in this direction. Authorities there are appointing 130 ECC special educators across the district's Bal Vatikas, a move meant to strengthen the education system all the way from early childhood learning to higher levels of schooling.
130 Vacancies Draw a Large Pool of Applicants
The district currently has 130 vacant posts for special educators, and a large number of unemployed candidates have already registered by filling out application forms. With registration complete, the candidates are now going through the counselling process. Once appointed, these special educators will be posted in Bal Vatikas, where they will teach children and help build a strong base that carries them from primary schooling into higher levels of education.
How to Apply Through the Sewayojan Portal
Candidates who want to become an ECC special educator must first register themselves on the Sewayojan portal. Once registration is done, candidates start receiving periodic updates about vacant posts in every district. Based on this information, they can apply for the special educator post in any district of the state, depending on their educational qualification. Applicants also need to submit their Aadhaar card along with other necessary documents at the time of application.
Age 18 to 38, Graduate Degree Required, Salary Above Rs 14,000
To be eligible for the special educator post, a candidate must be between 18 and 38 years of age. A minimum graduate degree is mandatory and must be submitted at the time of registration. Those selected for the post will draw a monthly salary of more than Rs 14,000.
Selection Will Be Merit-Based, Says District Official
District Basic Education Officer Sanjay Kumar Tiwari said the registration process for vacant posts in the district is continuing without a break. He said special educators are currently completing their counselling, and their documents are being verified. According to him, appointments to the Bal Vatikas will be made strictly on the basis of merit, so that the standard of education keeps improving. Tiwari added that only eligible candidates will be appointed as special educators, and the entire process will be carried out with complete transparency.
