In the film, Amitabh Bachchan essayed the role of a retired teacher named Dwarka Anand, whose son tragically loses his life in a carefully planned accident. This heartbreaking incident acts as a catalyst, turning personal grief into a massive social movement against systemic corruption.

The multi-starrer project featured prominent actors including Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Rampal, Amrita Rao, Manoj Bajpayee, and Vipin Sharma in pivotal roles.
