The movie is performing exceptionally well at the box office, having officially crossed the 65 crore mark in India. By reaching this figure, Dhamaal 4 has effectively dismantled the previous weekend collection record held by Welcome to the Jungle, proving its dominance over the opening period.
Record-Breaking Weekend Performance
After a solid opening in double digits, the film witnessed a significant surge in collections over the weekend. The second day saw an impressive growth of approximately 60 percent, and this momentum continued into the third day with huge crowds filling theaters. According to initial box office tracking data, Dhamaal 4 generated a net collection of 28.50 crore on its first Sunday across approximately 11,480 shows nationwide.
Consistent Rise in Theatre Occupancy
The strong word-of-mouth promotion is clearly paying off, with more viewers flocking to watch the film. The theatre occupancy, which stood at 24 percent on Friday, climbed to 35 percent on Saturday and reached a notable 44 percent by Sunday. This consistent upward trajectory in the film's graph over the first three days highlights its growing popularity among the audience.
Surpassing Welcome to the Jungle
Interestingly, Dhamaal 4 has managed to overtake the performance of Akshay Kumar's Welcome to the Jungle during the opening weekend. Welcome to the Jungle recorded a net collection of 24.75 crore through 10,867 shows on its third day, bringing its total three-day Indian collection to 63.75 crore. Dhamaal 4’s superior performance in the same timeframe marks a significant victory for the franchise.
Outperforming Previous Ajay Devgn Releases
Dhamaal 4 has also left behind the recent releases featuring Ajay Devgn. De De Pyaar De 2 collected 13.75 crore on its third day, ending with a three-day total of 34.75 crore. Similarly, Son of Sardaar 2 garnered only 9.25 crore on its third day, resulting in a first-weekend collection of just 24.75 crore. Dhamaal 4’s current success clearly outshines these figures by a substantial margin.
