Given his critical condition, he was subsequently referred to the Government Medical College Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, where a dedicated team of doctors fought to save him over several days.

Despite the tireless efforts of the medical staff, Murugan Panavila could not be revived, and doctors officially declared him brain-dead on the afternoon of July 25. Following this, medical professionals carefully harvested his organs through a structured protocol and transferred them to patients in desperate need.
Distribution of Transplantable Organs
According to official details, Srimurugan's liver was successfully transplanted into a patient admitted at KIMSHEALTH hospital. Meanwhile, his heart valve was handed over to the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology. Both of his corneas were sent to the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology to restore sight to two individuals. Furthermore, his skin was donated to the skin bank at the Government Medical College Hospital, aiding in the treatment of severely burn-injured patients.
