Reflecting on the outcome of that project, the actor stated that the film fell victim to politics and could not progress, eventually forcing them to pull it out of theatres due to mounting protests. He emphasized that cinema should not be subjected to political interference because they are merely artists dedicated to entertaining audiences rather than engaging in controversies.

Debt Settlement and the Juhu Bungalow Notice

Amid financial distress stemming from box office failures and production ventures, the actor maintained that money never dictated his life choices. Following the massive success of Gadar 2 in 2023, a bank had issued an e-auction notice for his Juhu property, Sunny Villa, over unpaid dues and interest amounting to approximately 55.99 crore rupees. The notice was subsequently withdrawn after agreement on payment terms. Clarifying the situation, he stated that the funds he needed to clear were entirely his own responsibility without any external borrowing, noting that he remained genuinely happy and content with life even while dealing with that substantial debt.
