A sudden wave of panic swept through Shah Rukh Khan's Mumbai bungalow, Mannat, after two large snakes were spotted inside the premises. The unexpected presence of the reptiles caused immediate alarm among people at the residence, prompting an urgent call to a snake rescue team. The incident occurred on Monday evening at around 8 PM, when both snakes were reportedly seen coiled up on the lawn. Emergency responders rushed to the location and managed to safely capture one of the reptiles, while the second one slipped away amidst human activity.
According to details gathered from the incident, the captured reptile was an Indian rat snake measuring approximately 8 feet in length. Bringing a sense of relief, experts noted that this particular species is non-venomous. Following the rescue operation, the snake was safely relocated and released into a forest area in accordance with guidelines from the forest department. Meanwhile, the second snake vanished into the surroundings after sensing movement, and subsequent searches failed to locate it. The incident, which took place on the night of August 17, quickly gained traction on social media, leaving fans of the actor deeply surprised and concerned.
The Rescue Operation Led by Vicky Dubey
Snake rescuer Vicky Dubey received a distress call at around 8 PM on Monday reporting that two snakes had been spotted inside the Mannat premises located in Bandra West. The caller informed him that the reptiles were seemingly coiled on the lawn. Acting swiftly upon the tip-off, Dubey alerted forest department officials and arrived at the location to commence the rescue mission. The 8-foot-long rat snake was found hiding underneath a flight of stairs inside the bungalow's courtyard and was handled with extreme care before being transported away from the residential area.
Previous Similar Incidents at Celebrity Homes
Interestingly, this is not the first time a snake has been discovered at the Mumbai residence of a major Bollywood star. Earlier this year in May, a snake was also spotted at Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments situated in Bandra. Prompt action was taken during that incident as well, with a snake rescue team being summoned to safely catch the reptile and hand it over to the appropriate authorities.
