Anticipation surrounding filmmaker Jithu Madhavan's upcoming project Scene stepped up a gear on Thursday, October 8, as the production team officially unveiled its introductory musical track, Aathi Iva Yara. With actor Suriya taking center stage in the project, the musical drop immediately captured the interest of moviegoers across regions. Production house Jhagaram Studios shared the announcement on social media platform X, inviting audiences to join in the excitement as the single arrived in two regional languages: Aathi Iva Yara in Tamil alongside Ammo Idi Evara in Telugu.
Creative personnel and worldwide theatrical timetable
The soundscape of this newly unveiled track has been composed by Sushin Shyam. Lyricist Rajapriyan penned the words for the composition and also lent his own voice to sing the track. Moviegoers will not have to wait very long to see the complete project on the big screen, as the makers have locked in a prime festive release slot. The feature film is scheduled for a worldwide cinematic debut on November 6, timed specifically for the Diwali holidays this year.
Title teaser spotlights fierce police inspector Inbaraj
The musical release follows the promotional momentum created earlier by the film's title teaser. The visual clip opens with an ominous voiceover declaring that individuals continually highlight his professional talent merely to conceal and mask his darker character traits. Shortly after, Suriya makes an appearance in full police uniform as he walks into an active crime investigation scene. When he turns to inquire from an on-duty constable about who killed whom, the constable replies that figuring out that very answer is the exact reason he has been brought to the scene.
Prison sequence and the confrontation with inmates
In a subsequent scene set inside a penitentiary, a prison warden is seen issuing a tense warning to inmates regarding Suriya's character, who goes by the name Inbaraj. The warden explains to the prisoners that suspects start acting strangely whenever they catch sight of Inbaraj sir. Issuing a stern directive for everyone to retreat into their cells, the warden insists that nobody should step outside because Inbaraj sir is arriving. Moments later, Suriya directly confronts an inmate, delivering a sharp line telling the prisoner to inspect his face closely; explaining that while he might be the only policeman who ever arrested that convict, to him the convict is merely one among nearly 900 criminals he has locked behind bars.
Evolution from Suriya 47 and primary ensemble
The production venture kicked off in December last year following a traditional ceremonial puja conducted in the city. Backed by Jhagaram Studios, the project originally generated industry buzz under the tentative working title Suriya 47. Ever since the collaboration between actor Suriya and director Jithu Madhavan was first spoken about, expectations have remained remarkably high among cinephiles. Suriya leads the storyline, with Nazriya Nazim appearing in the female lead role.
