A devastating road accident in the city of Hansi, Haryana, claimed the life of a young schoolboy on Tuesday afternoon. A 10-year-old child, who was out riding his bicycle, was fatally struck by a tractor, leaving his family completely shattered and local authorities urgently investigating the circumstances of the crash.
Tragedy Strikes on the Way to a Shop
The victim has been officially identified as Vinay, the young son of Ramesh, and a resident of the Hudda Sector-5 area. The 10-year-old was currently studying in the fourth grade. The horrific incident unfolded at approximately 3:30 PM along Kundanapur Road. According to the preliminary information gathered from the scene, Vinay was pedaling his bicycle and heading towards a local shop when a speeding tractor approached from behind. The heavy agricultural vehicle rammed directly into the child's bicycle, dragging him underneath and causing critical, life-threatening injuries.
Declared Dead at the Hospital
Local bystanders immediately rushed to the boy's aid following the violent collision. The profusely bleeding child was urgently transported to the Hansi General Hospital for emergency medical treatment. However, despite the swift response from the public, attending medical professionals pronounced him dead upon arrival. The doctors stated that the injuries he sustained from being crushed by the tractor were far too severe to survive.
A Grieving Father Demands Justice
The sudden and unnatural loss has plunged the victim's family into deep mourning. Ramesh, the devastated father of the young boy, broke down while speaking about the tragedy. He heartbreakingly expressed that he just wants his child back. Ramesh explained that their family lives in a rented accommodation and that they only have two children. Earning his living as a daily wage laborer in the city, he emphasized that the tractor driver completely ran over his son while the boy was simply on his way to the store. The grieving father firmly stated that his family demands justice and nothing else.
Police Seize Vehicle and Launch Probe
Law enforcement authorities were quickly mobilized following the fatal crash. Upon receiving an emergency alert through the Dial-112 service, a rapid response team, along with Sub-Inspector (SI) Anil from the Anaj Mandi police post, swiftly arrived at the accident site. The police officials thoroughly inspected the area to gather essential evidence and formally seized the tractor involved in the collision.
Vinay's mortal remains have since been shifted to the mortuary of the General Hospital, where a postmortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death. Providing an update on the investigation, Investigating Officer SI Anil confirmed that the police team arrived promptly after being notified by the Dial-112 control room. He noted that the authorities are currently in the process of recording official statements from the grieving family members.
