A baffling case has surfaced from Haryana where two married women have gone missing from their respective homes, taking along four young children and gold jewelry worth lakhs of rupees. Notably, both women studied together up to the 12th standard. The sudden disappearance has thrown both families into panic, while law enforcement agencies have launched intensive efforts to trace the women and the kids.
Disappearance from Ballabgarh and Pataudi
The incident came to light when 25-year-old Manju went missing from her matrimonial home in Ballabgarh. She took along her four-year-old son and two-year-old daughter, alongside gold ornaments and valuables worth approximately 4 lakh rupees. When her family began searching for her and tried contacting her childhood friend Reena, they discovered that Reena was also missing from her residence in the Pataudi area of Gurugram.
Reena left her home taking her four-year-old daughter and an 18-month-old son. According to her family, cash and valuable items worth around 5 lakh rupees were also missing from her house. The simultaneous disappearance of both women along with their toddlers has left local authorities and relatives deeply concerned about their whereabouts and safety.
WhatsApp Chats Reveal Close Relationship
Following their disappearance, anxious family members scrutinized their call records and private messaging history. During this review, WhatsApp chats dating back about 18 months surfaced. The messages reportedly showed the two women addressing each other with affectionate terms such as 'my cute wife', 'my love', and 'babu'.
The husbands of the women claim that these conversations point toward a romantic relationship between the two friends. They suspect that the pair might have secretly married before leaving their homes. However, local police authorities have not yet officially confirmed any formal marriage between the two individuals as investigations continue.
Stance of the Husbands and Police Investigation
Amidst the unfolding situation, the husbands of both women stated that they would have no objection if the two wished to live together. Their primary appeal to the police, however, is the safe recovery of their four minor children.
Missing person complaints have been formally lodged with the Gurugram and Palwal police departments. Authorities are utilizing electronic surveillance, mobile tower tracking, and technical analysis to track the location of the women and children. Police teams are actively scanning potential hideouts and monitoring digital footprints to locate the families.
