Twenty-two-year-old Aman, a resident of Ladwa, had traveled to Karnal alongside his companion Raman. The two went to New Bahadur Chand Colony to check on an individual named Anup. While they were at the location, a group of four to five unidentified assailants suddenly arrived and targeted Aman. The attackers inflicted five to six knife wounds on him, resulting in fatal injuries. Karnal Sadar Chowki In-charge Satish Kumar stated that authorities received information late at night, prompting a swift response to inspect the scene and begin gathering evidence.

Relative Rajkumar shared that they were informed late at night that Aman had passed away, noting they had no prior knowledge that he was in Karnal or who he was traveling with.
