Among these registered incidents, theft cases constituted the largest share with 3,481 recorded offenses. Additionally, the state registered 1,970 kidnapping cases, 13 robbery cases, and 309 murder cases during this timeframe.

Out of the 1,287 registered rape cases, convictions were achieved in 66 cases, while 219 cases concluded in acquittals. The majority of the cases continue to await legal resolution, with 775 rape trials currently pending in court proceedings.

District-wise statistics indicate that Shimla recorded the highest volume of both murder and theft cases. A total of 50 murder cases were registered in Shimla district over the three-year period, representing the highest count among all districts in Himachal Pradesh. Shimla also led in property crimes, accounting for 455 registered theft cases.

In terms of offenses against women, Mandi district registered the highest number of rape cases at 187. Shimla and Sirmaur districts recorded the second highest figures, with each district reporting 168 registered rape cases.

Uniform Policy for Multipurpose Staff and OBC Seat Review

Responding to a separate query raised by Congress MLA R.S. Bali, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu outlined administrative measures for state employees.
