Ananya's father, Gagan Singh, works as a lecturer in the education department, while his mother is a homemaker. Given Ananya's natural aptitude for mathematics during his school years, his parents initially encouraged him to consider B.Tech or related technical streams, believing his mathematical problem-solving skills would lead to a flourishing engineering career. However, Ananya had nurtured a passion for medicine from an early age, motivated by a desire to serve society as a healthcare professional.

Ananya laid his educational foundation at Siddhivinayak School in Gangath before transitioning to DAV School, Bagani, where he studied from class 6 through class 12 (plus two). Upon completing his plus one examinations, he initiated an intensive preparation regimen for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. His journey encountered a major hurdle when the initial examination was unexpectedly cancelled, creating widespread uncertainty among candidates across the state.
Rather than being demoralised by the setback, Ananya demonstrated remarkable resilience. He maintained his rigorous daily study schedule and put forth a stellar performance in the re-NEET exam. His high score enabled him to secure a coveted medical seat during the counselling rounds, marking the formal start of his professional medical training.
