A bustling Disneyland fair has taken over Shivaji Maidan in Palamu, drawing large crowds of shoppers and families looking for a vibrant outing. The venue hosts nearly 100 diverse stalls offering a wide array of goods, including apparel, home utilities, decorative pieces, children toys, and various food items. Open daily from 10 am to 10 pm, the fair has quickly transformed into a premier destination for both shopping and recreation.
Footwear stalls have emerged as a major attraction at the event. According to stall operator Aman Kumar, a diverse collection of shoes and sandals has been sourced directly from Delhi and other major metropolitan areas to offer customers great variety at budget-friendly prices. Shoppers can choose from an extensive inventory that includes flats, wedge heels, pencil heels, crocks, and waterproof options. Among these, waterproof footwear is experiencing the highest demand.
Highlighting the utility of the waterproof sandals, Aman Kumar explained that they are exceptionally practical for the rainy season. They offer enhanced grip to minimize slipping on smooth surfaces like tiles while ensuring continuous comfort for the feet. These waterproof pairs are priced between 200 and 400 rupees, whereas standard heels and flat sandals are available in the 200 to 300 rupee range.
The footwear collection at the fair also features shipments brought in from Agra and Kolkata. Customers have shown a strong preference for these items due to their durable construction and distinct modern designs. The sizes range from number 5 to number 9, catering to a wide demographic that includes teenagers around 14 years of age, adults, and elderly visitors alike.
In addition to shopping, the fair features dedicated arrangements for children entertainment, making it a comprehensive spot for families to spend quality time together. The combination of varied retail options and recreational facilities at Shivaji Maidan has made the local Disneyland fair a major seasonal highlight.
