In a major industrial incident in Raigad district, severe flooding at a Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) bottling plant in Khalapur caused roughly 3,000 gas cylinders to wash away into the Patalganga River. While Mumbai remains under a heavy cloud cover, the IMD anticipates intermittent light to moderate rain. Meanwhile, in North Goa, three fishermen were rescued after their canoe capsized near Morjim Beach, thanks to a swift response from local lifeguard services.
