In a written response to the Rajya Sabha, Minister of State for Finance Pankaj Chaudhary shared the five-year tax liability details for ITR-7 filers, whose activities include poverty relief, education, healthcare, and yoga. The official data indicated that tax obligations for ITR-7 filers grew from ₹356 crore in AY 2021-22 to ₹1,043 crore in AY 2025-26. Intermediary figures stood at ₹419 crore in AY 2022-23, ₹816 crore in AY 2023-24, and ₹781 crore in AY 2024-25.

Going beyond the representation issue, Singh levelled serious allegations of entrenched corruption inside the National Company Law Tribunals (NCLTs), asserting that powerful corporate groups and influential businessmen were being granted financial waivers by these bodies. He further warned that the proposed legislative changes would hand the government significantly greater authority over the day-to-day functioning of the NCLTs.

Speaking in favor of the Tribunals Reforms Bill, MP Swati Maliwal stated that the proposed law addresses the common citizen's long wait for judicial relief. She emphasized that the measure goes beyond operational rules for tribunals and directly impacts public confidence in the judicial process.
