Opposition leaders to gather at Rajya Sabha LoP office today to draft session strategy
A meeting of Opposition floor leaders from both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha has been scheduled for 10 a.m. on Monday inside the Rajya Sabha LoP office in Parliament to deliberate on their strategy for the ongoing Monsoon Session. The proceedings of the Monsoon Session will resume normally starting Monday (July 27, 2026), following Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation from his post as Union Education Minister after widespread demonstrations conducted by student bodies and the Cockroach Janata Party. As part of measures aimed at curbing paper leaks in competitive examinations going forward, the government is scheduled to table the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, in the Lower House on Monday (July 27, 2026).
