Father Murders Son in Guna Family Dispute
A shocking case of filicide has emerged from the Kumbhraj police station area in Guna, where a father killed his own two-and-a-half-year-old son due to family enmity. The accused, 33-year-old Manoj Sahu from Geeta Nagar Colony, hatched a plan to frame his parents and siblings in a false murder case. The child was brought to the Community Health Center in a deceased state on June 25. Once the post-mortem report confirmed death by strangulation, police intensified their investigation. Leopard Intrudes into Water Plant
Fear has gripped the town of Badwah in Khargone district following the daring entry of a leopard into an active water plant located approximately three kilometers from the main town. The incident, captured on CCTV, shows the leopard silently entering the premises at night, preying on a dog, and dragging it back into the forest. This is not the first time a leopard has been spotted at this facility, as a similar incident was recorded last year. The forest department team inspected the site and has urged residents and staff to exercise extreme caution at night, avoid moving alone, and report any wildlife sightings immediately. The department is currently monitoring the leopard's movements closely.
