Real estate developer Pranav Constructions Limited delivered a robust opening for equity investors on the domestic bourses, listing its shares at a premium of up to 33 percent over the upper issue price band. On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the stock began trading at 165 rupees, marking a 33 percent premium over the initial offer price of 124 rupees. On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the equity shares debuted at 162 rupees, registering an opening jump of 30.64 percent. Following the strong debut across both mainboard exchanges, the company reached a total market capitalization of 1,520.97 crore rupees.
Public Offering Garnered Overwhelming 121 Times Bidding
The initial public offering of Pranav Constructions opened for subscription on September 7 and concluded on September 9. Bidders across categories showed immense appetite for the issue over the three-day window, resulting in a massive cumulative subscription of 121 times by the close of the final day. The bidding traction had accelerated steadily from the start, as the offering was booked 5.69 times on the first day and expanded to 18.20 times on the second day before seeing heavy bids on the concluding session.
Issue Size, Price Band, and Fresh Equity Allocation
To execute the 351 crore rupee public issue, the company established a price band of 118 rupees to 124 rupees per equity share carrying a face value of 10 rupees each. The overall fundraising structure comprised a substantial fresh issue alongside an offer for sale component. The fresh issue portion accounted for 316 crore rupees through the issuance of 2,54,51,612 new equity shares. Meanwhile, the promoter group offloaded 28,56,869 shares worth 35 crore rupees through an Offer for Sale (OFS) mechanism to dilute a part of their holding.
Allotment Milestones and Quick Demat Delivery
The timeline following the close of the subscription window proceeded without delay. After the issue closed on Wednesday, September 9, share allotment was finalized on Thursday, September 10. The company then credited the allotted shares into eligible investors' demat accounts on September 11, while unallocated applicants received their refunds on the very same day. As a full-fledged mainboard listing, the stock has now commenced regular trading on both the BSE and NSE platforms.
Use of Net Proceeds and Operating Foothold
According to the regulatory filings submitted to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Pranav Constructions intends to deploy the fresh capital toward securing essential government and statutory approvals, acquiring additional Floor Space Index (FSI), and fulfilling existing debt obligations. The remaining proceeds will be directed toward general corporate operations. Operationally, the company stands as a prominent redevelopment player across the western suburbs of Mumbai, focusing specifically on Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) redevelopment projects.
