Unplanned construction, the destruction of natural wetlands, and large-scale deforestation have severely aggravated the environmental conditions in the region. To tackle this, he suggested forming an expert committee comprising engineers, environmentalists, landscape planners, and urban planning specialists to formulate a viable strategy.
