Shooting Incident in Meerut
An act of shocking cruelty has been reported from the Sardhana area of Meerut. A man identified as Shami alias Sunny shot a stray dog directly in the head. The incident reportedly occurred after Shami’s pet dog wandered outside and was attacked by local stray dogs, leaving it injured. Enraged, Shami retrieved a country-made pistol from his home and fired at the first stray dog he encountered in the street.
Critical Condition of Shaurya
The injured dog, named Shaurya by the veterinary team, is fighting for its life in Delhi at Max Pets. An X-ray revealed that over 100 pellets are embedded in its head, which doctors state are nearly impossible to remove. Police have arrested Shami and his father, Irfan, who is accused of hiding the weapon. While Shami’s family claimed the dog was rabid and aggressive toward people and cattle, neighbors have dismissed these claims as lies.
