This year's Independence Day celebration marks a historic milestone as 'Vande Mataram' will be rendered for the very first time during the main event at the Red Fort. Following the conclusion of the Prime Minister's speech, approximately 2,500 NCC cadets alongside volunteers from 'My Bharat' (Mera Bharat) will join in unison to sing 'Vande Mataram' and the National Anthem. This joint choral performance by young volunteers and cadets will bring the official morning proceedings to a grand conclusion.
