Investigating authorities identified a specific SIM card as the primary reason for the jammer circumvention. The mobile device used by Prajwal Revanna contained an Airtel SIM card activated within the Andhra Pradesh telecom circle. The electronic jammers currently installed at the Parappana Agrahara facility were calibrated primarily to block local telecom frequencies operating within Karnataka. Operating on external state frequency channels, the Andhra Pradesh SIM managed to maintain strong network connectivity inside the premises. Prajwal Revanna and fellow inmate Pratap Rai reportedly utilized this line to stay in regular contact with family members and legal counsel.
Obscene Content and Streaming Services Found on Device
A forensic digital examination of the recovered handset revealed multiple active software applications.
