New Leadership Proposed for Rajasthan
Justice Sanjay K. Agarwal of the Chhattisgarh High Court has been recommended to take charge as the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court. This decision paves the way for new administrative guidance at the prominent western judicial institution. Upon completion of the procedural steps, he will assume leadership of the state's highest judicial bench.
Recommendations for Madhya Pradesh and Jammu-Kashmir
Continuing the administrative reshuffle, Justice Alpesh Yashwant Kogje of the Gujarat High Court has been proposed as the Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court. Additionally, Justice Dr. Pushpendra Singh Bhati from the Rajasthan High Court has been named for appointment as the Chief Justice of the Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh High Court. These designations aim to ensure smooth judicial administration across vital regions.
Pending Approval and Formal Notification
Following the transmission of these recommendations, the next phase rests with the central government. Once the executive approval is granted and the presidential appointment formalities conclude, official notifications will be published. The release of these notifications will formally clear the path for the newly designated judges to take charge of their respective high courts.
