A heart-wrenching tragedy has emerged from the Kalakote area of Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir, where two young real sisters lost their lives due to a venomous snakebite. In the dead of night, while both sisters were resting and fast asleep in their room, a lethal snake entered and bit them both, cutting their lives short in an instant.
Venom spread rapidly before reaching hospital
Startled by sudden screams, distressed family members rushed to the room and immediately transported the critical girls to a nearby medical facility. However, because the toxic venom had propagated swiftly through their systems, all attempts by the attending physicians failed to save them, and they could not be revived.
Simultaneous funerals plunge the village into mourning
The simultaneous departure of two daughters' funeral processions from a single household has left the entire village in profound shock and inconsolable grief. Such unfortunate incidents highlight the severe risks posed by wildlife encounters in rural areas during nighttime hours.
