Donald Trump has taken to Truth Social to express significant alarm regarding the proliferation of signage across the nation. According to the post, billboards and signs are being erected along the Southern Border and throughout the country, advertising birthright citizenship with deliveries reportedly starting at a price point of 4,000 dollars. Trump characterized this activity as a massive scam, alleging that billions of dollars are being generated illegally by allowing anyone willing to pay for citizenship to gain legal status. He warned that this process, which would potentially allow entire families to follow suit, is entirely unsustainable for the country.
Legal Challenges and Supreme Court Rehearing
Stating that American citizenship is not for sale, Trump emphasized that such practices constitute a criminal act. He directed harsh criticism toward the Supreme Court, labeling their recent ruling on the subject as fundamentally flawed and a miscarriage of justice. Declaring that this decision would destroy America if left uncorrected, the former president announced he would immediately petition for a rehearing by the United States Supreme Court. He urged the public to pay close attention to this issue, which he believes poses a direct threat to the integrity of national citizenship laws.
