ZEE5's popular reality show Maa Hai Na, which streams every Friday, is built around the beautiful and often emotional bond between mothers and their children. Hosted by Shilpa Shetty Kundra, the show brings celebrities and their mothers together for fun kitchen challenges, heartfelt exchanges and the sharing of cherished memories. In its latest episode, Bigg Boss fame Tanya Mittal appeared alongside her mother, and one moment from the episode has since become a talking point on social media.
The Question That Set Off the Fun
Comedians Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar were present on set in their characters of Chandu and Chandni. Seizing the opportunity, Chandan Prabhakar turned to both Tanya Mittal and her mother and posed a playful question: what exactly are the rules and conditions a man would need to meet in order to become the ideal son-in-law of the Mittal family? The moment the question landed, the atmosphere on set lightened up considerably.
Mom Goes First with Her Expectations
Tanya's mother responded first, making it clear that this was no short list. She said the man must have a big business to his name. Beyond that, he needs to be wise and responsible, and must be genuinely capable of taking care of the whole family.
Tanya Adds Her Own Demands, and the Farm Steals the Show
Tanya Mittal was quick to jump in with her own conditions. She said the man must also be handsome. She then went a step further, stating that his house needs to be at least 40 to 50 times bigger than the Maa Hai Na set, explaining that she tends to feel suffocated very quickly in cramped spaces. And if he also happens to own a 100 to 200 acre farm on top of everything else, Tanya said, that would make for a very good bonus.
Mixed Reactions from Those Around Her
Tanya's candid list of demands drew a mix of laughter and sheer disbelief from those present on set. Known for her glamorous personality and her habit of speaking her mind without holding back, Tanya Mittal once again proved that she is never one to be vague about what she wants.
What Makes Maa Hai Na Worth Watching
Every Friday on ZEE5, Maa Hai Na brings together celebrities and their mothers for cooking challenges that double as emotional journeys.
