Amid all this, the latest episode saw Kushal Tandon once again take an indirect dig at Gauahar Khan, the wife of his fellow contestant Zaid Darbar. Interestingly, this time it is not Kushal but Zaid who is winning praise, for the composed way he handled the moment.
What did Kushal Tandon say about Gauahar Khan?
During a conversation with Sohail Khan, Kushal Tandon opened up about his old connection tied to Zaid Darbar's world, referring to a past relationship. He said, "There was a time I was in love with a girl, and now she is married to him," clearly pointing at Gauahar Khan. Kushal Tandon and Gauahar Khan had met on the sets of Bigg Boss 7 and dated each other for some time, both on the show and outside it. However, the two parted ways not long after. Years later, with Gauahar now married to Zaid Darbar, Kushal's remark has once again put the old relationship in the spotlight.

This was a moment where Zaid could easily have reacted with irritation, but he chose a far more composed and mature response instead. Recalling something his wife Gauahar had once told him about Kushal, Zaid said, "He is a very nice person, Zaid," repeating her words back. He added that Gauahar has always spoken well of Kushal to him. This is not the first time the relationship between Gauahar Khan and Kushal Tandon has come up on The Alliance. A few days earlier, Kushal had made another indirect reference to Gauahar in a video that went viral at the time. In that clip, Kushal Tandon was seen chatting with Mini Mathur and Zaid Darbar in the gym area. During the conversation, Kushal mentioned that he had "beaten" Zaid the previous night. Curious, Mini asked what had happened, and Zaid explained that he had borrowed a cigarette from Kushal because the one he had was "useless." Reacting to this, Kushal joked, "You like all my things." As soon as the video surfaced, social media users began linking Kushal's comment directly to Gauahar. Several people criticised the actor for the remark, while others questioned Zaid's restrained reaction at the time.
