The Prime Minister underwent a comprehensive eye examination at the Birendra Military Hospital located in Chhauni. Following the clinical evaluation, Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Sachit Dhakal confirmed that Balen Shah suffers from light sensitivity and dry eye syndrome. These conditions require continuous protection against bright indoor illumination and legislative floor lights to prevent optical discomfort and strain.
To manage the condition, the examining doctor formally advised Balen Shah to wear dark sunglasses continuously and administer prescribed eye drops at regular intervals. With parliament resuming its active sessions on Wednesday, Prime Minister Balen Shah is scheduled to be present on the house floor to respond to parliamentary inquiries.
