Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed appointment letters to newly recruited personnel in the agriculture department during an official event in Lucknow. A total of 3,446 technical assistants and 126 market secretaries officially received their employment documents at the ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister delivered a strong warning targeting criminal elements operating within the state.
Ensuring Safety for Farmers and Crops
Highlighting the transformation of the state's law and order framework, the Chief Minister stated that agricultural pumps and equipment installed in farmers' fields are no longer vulnerable to theft the way they used to be. He emphasized that criminals now understand the severe consequences of breaking the law, warning that anyone daring to commit a theft would end up crippled by the very next day.
Targeting Previous Administrations
Directing his criticism at the opposition, the Chief Minister recalled the conditions prevalent prior to the year 2017. He asserted that the administration during that era was directly involved in facilitating the theft of agricultural equipment rather than stopping it. According to his remarks, those in power previously protected and orchestrated such illegal activities instead of taking action against the culprits.
