In a significant administrative standardisation drive in Jaipur, the Rajasthan Personnel Department has announced a major reshuffle involving senior state administrative officers. Formal transfer orders have been issued for 6 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and 7 Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers. Under these orders, the transferred officers have been assigned fresh departmental portfolios and field postings across various districts.
New Assignments for IAS Officers
According to the official notification, key responsibilities have been redistributed among top IAS officers. IAS Pragya Kewalramani has been posted as Commissioner of TAD and Devasthan. IAS H. Guite will take charge as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) at HCM-RIPA. To bolster public health enforcement, IAS Avichal Chaturvedi has been appointed as the Commissioner of Food Safety. Additionally, IAS Khajan Singh has been appointed as the new Divisional Commissioner of Udaipur. In departmental secretariats, IAS Sohanlal has been posted as Joint Secretary in the Agriculture Department, while IAS Divyansh Singh has been appointed Joint Secretary in the Education Department.
Key Postings of RAS Officers
The reshuffle also includes strategic reassignments for 7 RAS officers across specialized departments and regional governance. RAS Rajlaxmi Gahlot has been posted as ADM (Land Records) in Chittorgarh. Meanwhile, RAS Jagat Rajeshwar has been designated as Deputy Secretary in the State Women Commission.
Sub-Divisional and Field Administration Changes
Several sub-divisional administrative roles have been updated to streamline local governance. RAS Jaipal Singh Rathore has been appointed as the SDM of Beawar. In Jhalawar district, RAS Kartikey Meena takes over as SDM of Aklera, while RAS Pooja Meena has been posted as SDM of Bhawani Mandi. In Hanumangarh district, RAS Sunita Yadav-III has been appointed as SDM of Nohar. Furthermore, RAS Banwari Lal Bairwa has been assigned as Assistant Collector in Bhadra.
