A horrific double homicide has rocked Mundola village under the Vallabhnagar police station jurisdiction in Udaipur district, where a mother and her daughter were brutally killed inside their residence late Friday night. The victims have been identified as 70-year-old Lunga and her 47-year-old daughter Amri Bai Gadri. Their blood-soaked bodies were discovered inside the house with deep wounds inflicted on their necks by sharp-edged weapons, causing immense outrage and grief among local residents and family members.
Looting Suspected as Primary Motive
Initial investigation by the local police indicates that the crime was committed with the intention of robbery. Intruders allegedly broke into the dwelling, slit the throats of both women, and fled the spot after looting cash and gold jewelry. The severe marks on the victims' necks suggest a violent struggle and deliberate attack using sharp weapons before the perpetrators escaped with the stolen valuables.
Family Demands Immediate Arrests Before Cremation
Angered by the horrific incident, the grieving family members and villagers have launched a stern protest. They have flatly refused to claim the deceased bodies or perform the final rites until the law enforcement authorities arrest all the perpetrators involved in the double murder. Police teams have launched an investigation into the matter to track down the culprits and restore calm in the region.
