Festive energy has begun gripping the iconic Dussehra Ground in Kota as preparations reach their peak for the celebrated National Dussehra Fair 2026. Regarded as one of the hallmark events across the Hadoti region, the municipal corporation and fair administrative authorities have rolled out extensive arrangements to ensure an impressive gathering. A dedicated amusement zone is being constructed to entertain visitors, families, and young children, accommodating more than 70 distinct categories of gentle, family-oriented, and high-adrenaline rides.
Massive Swing Boat and Final Touches by Technical Crews
Heavy-duty cranes are actively operating inside the fairgrounds to hoist massive metal structures into place. Expert technicians and craftsmen are currently finishing the structural assembly, safety checks, and painting of the attractions. The premier visual draw this season is a towering 145-foot giant boat ride engineered with an impressive seating capacity, permitting between 100 and 125 passengers to experience a single swing cycle together. Several ride operators mentioned that their families have set up attractions at this historic Kota gathering across multiple generations.
Wall of Death, Dragon Train, and Action-Packed Attractions
A diverse array of entertainment options is being lined up for thrill-seekers looking for fast-paced experiences. The layout features high-thrill setups like the giant Ferris wheel, Tsunami, and Mixer rides, alongside intermediate options including 26-seater and 28-seater swings. Younger visitors can look forward to dedicated tracks for a dragon train and a miniature toy train, while the traditional Wall of Death stunt arena returns as a crowd-pulling spectacle.
Iconic Culinary Stalls: Falooda, Kachora, and Milk-Jalebi
Beyond the mechanical thrills, the food promenade will feature long-running culinary staples from Rajasthan and neighbouring states. Prominent local and regional caterers are busy setting up their counters. Reflecting on their decades-long legacy at the venue, Sardar Taranpal Singh of Shere Punjab Ice Cream shared,
"We have been coming to this fair for 40 to 45 years, and residents of Kota eagerly wait all year for our special falooda."
Food enthusiasts will also find the renowned kachora from Nasirabad's famous Agrawal Kachora Bhandar, which has maintained an unbroken presence at the event since 1995. Adding to the traditional treats, the 70-year-old establishment of Shambhu Ji from Rampura is serving its signature hot milk-jalebi alongside rich lassi.
Vast Shopping Avenues for Household Utensils, Toys, and Garments
Complementing the leisure and dining options, extensive retail sectors are taking shape across the venue to offer a complete market experience. Dedicated sections have been allocated for traditional confectioners, children's toys, ready-made clothing, and durable domestic utensils. Thousands of daily shoppers and families from throughout the Hadoti belt, across Rajasthan, and from surrounding states are projected to visit the historic grounds throughout the festivities.
