A major breakthrough has been achieved by the local police in Sriganganagar regarding the horrific rape case involving a 13-year-old minor. The primary suspect in this sensational incident, identified as NRI Aman Ramgaria, has been taken into custody. Aman Ramgaria had been residing abroad for an extended period and returned from New Zealand just about a month and a half ago to prepare for his wedding. Given the gravity of the situation, the police administration maintained high vigilance, especially since the suspect's marriage was finalized for July 14, and preparations were already underway. However, due to the severity of the crime and the strict enforcement of the law, the accused now finds himself behind bars instead of the wedding altar.
The Incident at the Hotel
During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that the accused, Aman, had committed the crime while staying at a hotel under the guise of a guest. He targeted a minor girl, which constitutes a highly serious criminal offense under the law. Immediately upon receiving information about the incident, the police prioritized the case. By collecting CCTV footage from the hotel and gathering other material evidence, the police were able to trace and eventually arrest the suspect.
20 Arrests Made by the SIT
In total, the Sriganganagar police have arrested 20 individuals so far in connection with this entire case. Recognizing the sensitivity and the various dimensions involved, the Rajasthan Police has established a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to handle the matter. This SIT is conducting a continuous and thorough investigation to ensure that every person involved in the incident is exposed. Senior police officials have stated that they will ensure the most stringent legal action is taken based on the evidence collected. Although the accused being an NRI who recently arrived from abroad adds a layer of complexity to the case, the investigative teams remain fully committed to strengthening the evidentiary trail to ensure the culprits receive severe punishment in court.
