Accused Scaled the Wall to Enter the House
According to available details, Satish Jat, a resident near Rani Sati Temple, reached the house of Rajesh in ward number 18 at around 10 PM on Sunday night. Reports state that instead of entering through the main door, he scaled the boundary wall to break into the premises and immediately launched a sharp weapon attack on the victim. Hearing the sudden commotion and screams, family members rushed to the spot and successfully restrained the attacker. Seriously wounded in the assault, Sonu was initially taken to a private hospital in Pilani, but due to his worsening condition, he was referred to Jhunjhunu. However, he passed away while undergoing treatment.
Enmity Stemming from Living with the Woman
The deceased Rajesh alias Sonu Kumawat alias Michael earned his livelihood through manual labor. He had been living for about six months with a young woman who hailed from West Bengal. Investigations indicate that the woman was previously married to the accused Satish Jat, but she left him roughly six months prior to start living with Rajesh. This exact situation triggered deep animosity and rivalry between the two men. It has come to light that they had engaged in heated arguments even before this fatal attack. Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased maintain that Rajesh had actually married the woman six months ago.
