During the holy month of Sawan, the Prem Prakash Ashram in Ajmer has emerged as a major center of faith and spirituality for devotees of Lord Shiva. Towering Statues and the 12 Jyotirlinga Cave

Beneath the structure of Mount Kailash, unique entrance caves designed in the shape of giant crocodile mouths have been constructed on both sides. Pilgrims walk through these distinctive cavernous pathways to reach the shrine inside. Housed within the cave are faithful replicas of all 12 Jyotirlingas, giving worshippers the rare opportunity to pay homage to every major Jyotirlinga at a single location. Unique Donation Urns and Decorative Fountain Circle
Directly facing the statue of Lord Shiva is an elegant fountain circle, surrounded by several ornate religious displays that add to the aesthetic charm of the complex. The ashram also features two extraordinarily designed donation boxes that stand out from conventional offerings containers.
One of these donation vessels is crafted in the shape of a 4-foot-high Kamandal (sacred water pot), while the other takes the form of a 5-foot-high Nagada (traditional kettle drum). Their creative design and substantial size catch the eye of every pilgrim passing through.
The 30-Foot High Pavilion and Resonating Bells
Another striking feature within the grounds is a grand pavilion or mandap standing approximately 30 feet tall. The four structural pillars supporting this mandap are adorned with artistic figures of angels. Installed around the four sides of the pavilion are 14 large bells on each side.
When worshippers ring these heavy bells, the resonant sound echoes across the entire ashram grounds. The harmonious vibrations create a deeply peaceful and devotional environment that enhances the prayerful mood of the complex.
Travel Route and Access Information
Reaching the Prem Prakash Ashram for a visit is straightforward for travelers coming to Ajmer. The religious site is situated just about 4 kilometers away from the Ajmer Railway Station.
Visitors arriving at the station can take local transport directly to the Adarsh Nagar area. Upon reaching Adarsh Nagar, travellers will find a prominent archway named 'Madhav Dwar'. Proceeding straight through the Madhav Dwar gate leads directly to the entrance of the Prem Prakash Ashram complex without any hassle.
