A talented youth from Karnai village in the Ballia district of Uttar Pradesh, Shlok Shukla, has brought pride to his home region by showcasing his talent at the state level. In the modeling category of the multi category national talent hunt and television reality show Indias Talent Fight, he secured first place in Uttar Pradesh. A Background Rooted in Family Perseverance
Shlok Shukla achieved this milestone after navigating demanding circumstances throughout his upbringing. Reflecting on his family background, he noted that earnings in traditional households were often insufficient to sustain large families comfortably. His father endured significant hardship during earlier years, working a job that paid just 500 rupees while funding the education of his siblings. Today, his father has established himself as a Bhagwat Katha narrator in Ballia. Shlok considers his father his primary director and mentor, expressing determination to bring global recognition to his family name. His mother works as a teacher in the private sector, contributing to the household through education.
Securing the Super Model Title Through Competitive Auditions
Detailing his journey through the reality show, Shlok Shukla explained that he appeared for the modeling audition of Indias Talent Fight four months prior. He was selected among a cohort of 100 male contenders. On 28 September, he represented Ballia on stage, presenting his modeling presence before the panel. His presentation earned him the first prize along with the prestigious India Super Model title. The reality show is broadcast across various prominent television networks and has an operational legacy spanning 100 years, crowning emerging talents each season. For 2026, Shlok Shukla has been registered as the title winner.
Pageant Recognitions and Screen Appearances
Beyond this latest milestone, Shlok Shukla has secured several pageantry accolades during his journey. His recognitions in 2026 include winning the Mr Glamorous title, the Star of Purvanchal title, and the Mr Best Walk prize at a Kala John show organized in Ballia. Parallel to runway modeling, he has ventured into screen acting. He marked his screen debut in the Rajkummar Rao led film Maalik, where he appeared in a crowd scene portraying a hostel boy. Following that appearance, he worked in a promotional shoot for the web series Silence 2. He has also auditioned for an upcoming web series project, with results currently awaited ahead of potential filming calls.
Balancing Engineering Studies and Heritage
Alongside his creative pursuits, Shlok Shukla remains focused on completing his formal education. He is currently enrolled as a B.Tech engineering student at BBD University in Lucknow. He emphasizes that he devotes equal discipline and hard work to his engineering coursework as he does to fashion and performance arts. Coming from a traditional family where religious rituals and prayers are part of daily routine, he draws motivation from these customs and actively participates in conducting prayers himself. The one lakh rupee cash prize awarded through the competition will support his continued professional and academic endeavours.
