Delhi-Daman Direct Flights Launch as IGI Airport Secures Major Aviation Milestone

Direct flight operations between Delhi and Daman have officially commenced, making IGI Airport the only aviation hub in the country to connect 32 states and union territories directly.

Travelers looking to commute between Delhi and Daman can now do so without the hassle of long transit halts, as a direct flight connection has been officially established. Passengers previously had to change flights via Mumbai, but the launch of this new route has eliminated those layovers entirely, streamlining the journey between the two destinations.

Alliance Air Operations and Schedule

The direct flight service from Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport to Daman is being operated by Alliance Air. At present, the flight operates twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. Flight number 9I-811 departs from Delhi at around 6:20 AM and completes a flight time of roughly 2.50 hours to land at Daman's Namo Airport at around 9:10 AM. On the return leg, flight number 9I-812 takes off from Daman at 9:35 AM and arrives back in Delhi around 12:25 PM.
