Why the surgery became necessary
Sumona said she had been dealing with endometriosis for a long time. She initially tried to manage the condition with medication, but the pain gradually became unbearable. She finally underwent surgery on May 4 last month. Since the treatment, she had been on bed rest and focusing entirely on her recovery, which is why she stayed away from both shooting and social media.

Making her return, Sumona wrote that she was thrilled to be back after two months. She said she had deliberately stayed off social media during this period. She said the last two months were spent working on both her mental and physical health.
