Tensions inside the reality show Bigg Boss 20 escalated during Sunday's Weekend Ka Vaar episode as differences between rapper Young DSA and actress Mahhi Vij resurfaced in dramatic fashion. A series of activities introduced by host Salman Khan, along with segments hosted by visiting celebrity guests, turned simmering friction into an outright clash between the two participants.
Salman Khan Introduces the Mute Task
During the Sunday broadcast, host Salman Khan challenged the contestants to participate in an activity aimed at silencing those housemates who irritate them the most or constantly meddle in unrelated matters. Under the rules of the task, participants had to stick silence tape across the mouths of contestants whose continuous commentary bothered them.
Rapper Young DSA was the first to step forward. Without hesitation, he walked up to Mahhi Vij and placed the tape over her mouth. Explaining his decision, Young DSA remarked that regardless of whose argument is taking place in the house, Mahhi immediately jumps into the middle like a lawyer trying to argue a case.
Accusations Fly Across the Living Room
The activity continued with Asif Khan choosing to tape Love Gill's mouth. Asif explained his stance by noting that despite speaking throughout the entire day, Love continues to complain that she never receives an opportunity to voice her thoughts. Uditi followed suit and also muted Love Gill, stating that Love tends to mimic others during conversations, which prevents constructive dialogue from taking place.
When her turn arrived, Mahhi Vij retaliated directly against Young DSA by placing the tape across his face. Mahhi stated that Young continuously speaks without substance. She further pointed out that rather than addressing issues directly to her face, he prefers walking past while making passive comments. Young DSA defended his behavior with an analogy, saying that fireworks are meant to be lit on the street during Diwali, because lighting them inside would burn down the entire house. Throughout the exercise, Love Gill, Mahhi Vij, and Young DSA remained the primary targets, leaving household dynamics noticeably strained.
Celebrity Appearances and the Rhyme Controversy
The episode also featured multiple high-profile guests on stage. Singer Mika Singh made an appearance, alongside Veer Pahariya, who arrived with his co-stars to promote their upcoming movie Prem Kitanu. Additionally, Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan joined the show to interact with the housemates.
Sara Ali Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana engaged the participants in a board-reading activity inside the house. The board displayed various rhyming verses, and contestants were asked to read a rhyme and identify which housemate it best described. When Mahhi Vij stepped up, she read lines declaring that whistles and floppy disks are no longer sold anywhere, urging the person to stop being someone else's cheap copy.
Mahhi immediately designated the rhyme to Young DSA. When Ayushmann Khurrana asked her whose cheap copy she considered him to be, Mahhi promptly answered with the name of MC Stan. The direct jab prompted lighthearted teasing from Salman Khan and the other guests, but it firmly solidified the growing divide between Young DSA and Mahhi Vij inside the house.
