Sometimes, family tragedies unfold in ways that deeply shake the human conscience. A heart-wrenching situation has emerged in Bhapata village, situated approximately 14 kilometers away from the Sultanpur district headquarters. Here, 75-year-old Sadhu Sahu and his elderly wife find themselves completely abandoned in the twilight of their lives. Despite having five sons, the couple lives in a dilapidated mud house, struggling to survive while waiting endlessly for their fifth son, who has been missing since 2021.
Four Sons Moved Out, the Fifth was Their Only Hope
Sadhu Sahu has five sons in total. However, four of them have built separate lives and homes, completely distancing themselves from their aging parents. Forget about providing financial or emotional support, these four sons do not even speak to them. The fifth son was the only one who stayed behind to look after his parents and was the sole breadwinner of the family. Since his sudden disappearance, the elderly couple has been left without any source of livelihood or care.
The Unfortunate Disappearance in 2021
Recalling the painful memories, Sadhu Sahu shared details of the incident with TrendKia. He explained that in the year 2021, his son left the house and went to sit at a local village temple. He went missing from that very spot and has not been seen since. The elderly parents made frantic efforts to search for him in all nearby areas. They also approached the local police and registered a formal missing person report, but unfortunately, no clues have been found to this day.
A Name Tattoo as the Key Identification Mark
In a desperate attempt to find their son, the couple is appealing to the public for help. Sadhu Sahu mentioned that his missing son has a permanent tattoo on his hand with the name Sandeep Sadhu Sahu engraved on it. The elderly couple still frequents the location from where their son originally went missing, driven by the lingering hope that he might return. They have urged anyone who might spot a person matching this description to contact them immediately.
