The weather across Uttar Pradesh has been experiencing significant fluctuations. While several districts witnessed heavy rain accompanied by strong winds on Saturday night, a heatwave alert has been issued for 50 districts on Sunday. On Saturday, Prayagraj was recorded as the hottest city in the state with a maximum temperature of 43.2 degrees Celsius, followed by Fatehpur at 42.6, Banda at 42.6, and Varanasi at 42.5 degrees Celsius.

While heatwave conditions are expected to persist today and tomorrow, relief is on the horizon. The department predicts that after June 29, monsoon rains will commence. Even in regions without direct rainfall, cloud cover is expected to cause a significant drop in temperatures, potentially lowering them by 8 to 9 degrees Celsius.
