A major employment drive has been rolled out for educated unemployed young men in Sitamarhi under the aegis of the Department of Youth, Employment and Skill Development, Government of Bihar. Organized by the District Employment Exchange Sitamarhi, the specialized block-level recruitment camps aim to provide job avenues matching the eligibility of local youths. Through this initiative, SIS Muzaffarpur is recruiting for a total of 400 vacant posts, opening immediate career pathways in private security and cash management sectors.
Breakdown of Vacancies and Eligibility Criteria
According to an official letter released by District Employment Officer Mukund Madhav, the recruitment drive encompasses posts for security guards, security supervisors, and cash officers. The entire selection process is open exclusively to male applicants, and selected candidates will be assigned postings across India. For all positions, candidates must fulfill a mandatory physical body weight requirement ranging between 56 kg and 90 kg.

- Security Guard: There are 200 openings for this role. Candidates must have passed the 10th standard, stand at least 167.5 cm in height, and be between 19 and 40 years of age. The monthly remuneration is structured from Rs 15,000 to Rs 30,000.
- Security Supervisor: A total of 50 seats are allocated for supervisors. Applicants must possess an intermediate qualification, a minimum height of 170 cm, and fall into the 18 to 30 years age bracket. The offered monthly salary is Rs 17,000 to Rs 30,000.
- Cash Officer: Recruitment is open for 150 positions. Candidates must have completed intermediate schooling, attain a minimum stature of 165 cm, and be aged between 21 and 40 years. The monthly pay bracket ranges from Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000.
Block Schedule and Venue Roster
To facilitate broad participation, the camps are scheduled from October 5 to October 15, 2026, running daily from 11:00 am to 04:00 pm across various administrative centers. The circuit commenced on October 5 at Bathnaha, moving to Belsand on October 6, Nanpur on October 7, Pupri on October 8, Riga on October 9, and Runnisaidpur on October 10.
On October 12, the recruitment desk will operate from the Combined Labour Building at the District Employment Exchange in Sitamarhi. The drive will continue at Sonbarsa on October 13, Sursand on October 14, and conclude at the Bajpatti block premises on October 15. All block development officers have been directed to ensure orderly site logistics, adequate security arrangements, and widespread public awareness throughout the operational timeline.
Documentation Requirements for Candidates
The district administration and the employment exchange have advised interested male applicants to report to their designated venues with all required original records and duplicates. Essential documentation includes an updated resume, academic certificates, Aadhaar card, PAN card, bank passbook, two passport-sized photographs, and a photocopy of their registration certificate with the district employment office.
